Bluetooth IssuesUpdated 8 days ago
If you are stuck on the Bluetooth connection process, follow this guide to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Unplug your AutoPi Macaron or R1 device from your vehicle.
Step 2: Disconnect your phone from the device completely. First, turn Bluetooth off on your phone, then in your phones’ Bluetooth settings, “forget” or “unpair” your AutoPi, Macaron or R1.
Step 3: Turn your phone’s Bluetooth connection back on. Make sure location permissions are enabled, too.
Step 4: Plug your device back into your vehicle. Turn your vehicle on and start your engine.
- For AutoPi devices: The blue light should be solid if it is ready to pair.
- For Macaron devices: The blue light should be flashing if it is ready to pair.
- For DIMO LTE R1 devices: The red solid light indicates the device has power and ignition is on, and a solid green light indicates Bluetooth is connected. A blinking green light indicates Bluetooth is not connected.
Step 5: Connect your phone to your DIMO device. Open the DIMO app and go through the Connect your Vehicle steps.
- For Macaron devices: If you can’t find your Macaron device on your phone, you may need to activate Bluetooth pairing mode by pressing and holding the button on the device for one second.
