Bluetooth Issues 


If you are stuck on the Bluetooth connection process you can follow this guide to assist you with this issue.

For AutoPi Devices:

1. Unplug the Autopi from your Vehicle

2. Disable Bluetooth on Your Phone
  • Turn off Bluetooth on your phone. You can do this through the settings menu or the quick access panel.
3. Forget the 'DIMO Autopi' in Phone Settings
  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  • Find the 'Autopi' device in the paired devices list.
  • Select the option to 'Forget' or 'Unpair' this device.
4. Reactivate Bluetooth:
  • Turn Bluetooth back on your phone.
  • Ensure that Location permissions are enabled on your device.
5. Plug the Device back into your Vehicle
  • Plug your DIMO Autopi back into the vehicle.
  • Turn on your vehicle and start the engine.
  • Confirm that the Autopi has a solid blue light. This indicates that it is ready for pairing. 
6. Connect to the 'DIMO Autopi' in the DIMO mobile app
  • Open the DIMO mobile app on your phone.
  • Go through the Connect Your Vehicle steps.
7. Complete the Pairing Process
  • Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to finish the pairing process between your phone and the DIMO Autopi.


For Macaron Devices:

1. Unplug the Macaron from your Vehicle


2. Disable Bluetooth on Your Phone

  • Turn off Bluetooth on your phone. You can do this through the settings menu or the quick access panel.

3. Forget the 'DIMO Macaron' in Phone Settings

  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  • Find the 'Macaron' device in the paired devices list.
  • Select the option to 'Forget' or 'Unpair' this device.

4. Reactivate Bluetooth:

  • Turn Bluetooth back on your phone.
  • Ensure that Location permissions are enabled on your device.

5. Plug the Device back into your Vehicle

  • Plug your DIMO macaron back into the vehicle.
  • Turn on your vehicle and start the engine.
  • Confirm that the Macaron has a blinking blue light. This indicates that it is ready for pairing. When the device is successfully paired, it will have a solid blue light.

6. Connect to the 'DIMO Macaron' in the DIMO mobile app

  • Open the DIMO mobile app on your phone.
  • Go through the Connect Your Vehicle steps.

7. Complete the Pairing Process

  • Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to finish the pairing process between your phone and the DIMO Macaron.

8. If you cannot see the Macaron in your Bluetooth settings, activate Bluetooth pairing mode by clicking on the button on the device. Press, hold for 4 seconds, then release.
