Can I delete my data at any time?Updated 18 days ago

Yes — you’re in control.

While DIMO continues to build out in-app data and account management features, you currently have several options to manage or delete your data.


 🔧 Deleting a Vehicle and Its Data

To delete your vehicle and its associated data, follow these steps:

  1. Remove any integrations (connections) linked to your vehicle. You can follow this guide: Deleting an integration
  2. Once integrations are removed, go to the Vehicle page in the DIMO app or dashboard. 
  3. Scroll down to Vehicle Settings, where you'll find the option to Delete Vehicle.

If you're having trouble deleting a vehicle or removing integrations, try resetting your passkey. You can find the option under:

Account tab > Passkey > Reset Passkey

❗ What about deleting my entire account?

Account deletion is self-service. You can do this by going to the Account tab > Advanced > Delete account. This should delete your information immediately, if you have any issues, you can request your account to be deleted by emailing [email protected]. Please note that account deletion may take longer to process, as it involves permanently removing all associated data and identifiers.

Before you are able to delete your account, you will need to ensure that your vehicle connection has been terminated before you proceed.
