How often does the Macaron send data when connected to the Helium Network?Updated 3 months ago

The DIMO Macaron sends data every 30 seconds while on and within the Helium Network range. To ensure you’re within the Helium Network coverage, please check your local coverage here.

When your vehicle is off and parked, the Macaron will go to a very low power state. It will still send a data "heartbeat" once every hour to communicate GPS and Battery Voltage. 

Some data may even be bundled, as we can add multiple Lat/Long points into a single ping so you can get a complete picture of your trips.

The Macaron's ability to offload data via a Bluetooth connection to your phone is a feature that is now available with the latest DIMO App version.
