To earn DIMO rewards, your vehicle must be connected and actively sending data. Here’s how to check if your vehicle is qualified:
Step-by-Step: Check Vehicle Qualification Status
Step 1: Open the DIMO App
- Make sure you're logged into the correct account and can see your vehicle in it.
Step 2: Go to the Rewards Tab
- Tap the Rewards tab located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Look for Your Vehicle’s Status
- At the bottom of your vehicle card, you’ll see one of the following status indicators:
- ✅ Qualified – Your vehicle is connected and actively sending data. You’re set to earn rewards on the following Monday.
- ⏳ Pending – Your vehicle has not sent us data this week and still needs to qualify for rewards.
Note: Your vehicle’s status will reset to "Pending" every Monday right after rewards are distributed. This is normal — as soon as we receive new vehicle data, your status will switch back to "Qualified".
How to Ensure Your Vehicle Stays Qualified
- Drive Regularly: Be sure to drive your vehicle at least once per week. Your DIMO device or connection needs to send fresh data to maintain qualification.
- Check Connectivity: If you're using a hardware device like the R1, AutoPi or Macaron, ensure it's properly installed and powered on when you drive.
- Check the App: Make sure you check the app at least once a week to verify that you keep getting qualified. Reach out to us at [email protected] if you don’t seem to be qualifying.
When contacting DIMO Support, please include as much of the following as possible to help us investigate quickly:
- 📸 A photo of your device serial number
- 📧 The email address used on your account
- 🚗 Your vehicle’s VIN number
- 🎥 A video of the device lights to show current status
- 🧾 Your order number for the device
- 🕒 The last time you drove the vehicle
This will give us everything we need to troubleshoot effectively.
