Follow these steps to change your wallet and keep your assets:Step 1: If you haven&#x2019;t already, create a New Wallet Address<ul><li>You will want to create a new wallet address either on Rainbow or MetaMask.&#xA0;</li></ul>Step 2: Transfer your assets<ul><li>You can transfer your device and vehicle to the new wallet using <a href="http://dimobuddy.com/" id="isPasted" rel="noopener noreferrer" style=" text-decoration: none !important;" target="_blank">DIMO Buddy</a> by following the instructions on <a href="https://support.dimo.co/en-US/how-to-transfer-my-assets-to-a-different-account--wallet-340661" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">this link</a>.</li></ul>Step 3: Update the wallet in your DIMO account<ul><li>After transferring your Device and Vehicle NFTs over to your new wallet, go to the account tab scroll down, tap advanced select &quot;update wallet,&quot; then add the new wallet you created in Step 2. Your vehicles should appear again in your account.</li></ul>Step 4: *In-app Wallet accounts only* Create a new DIMO account<ul><li>You will NOT be able to hit the &#x201C;Update Wallet&#x201D; button in your mobile app; instead, you will need to make a brand new DIMO account using any email when you want. After getting to the select your wallet screen, please select &quot;external wallet&quot; and select the one to which you transferred your assets to. Once the account has been created, you can view your vehicles.&#xA0;</li></ul>

In the DIMO network, rewards are based on the value generated by users and applications. Users can earn additional $DIMO tokens when using authorized DIMO apps, with a portion of $DIMO also being burned (typically 1%). If needed, the DIMO Foundation can handle cash transactions and distribute $DIMO on behalf of app developers.

Check out the troubleshooting list below:&#xA0; Mismatched Connected Wallet&#xA0;If you receive an error that the wallet is mismatched, this means you have previously connected a wallet to your DIMO app, and are now trying to pair a different wallet.&#xA0;Switching to the originally connected wallet will resolve this issue! The app shows you the address of the original wallet under &quot;Registered Address.&#x201D;<img src="https://attachments.gorgias.help/uploads.gorgias.io/r1WE86rbjRe6J4Mv/undefined-c2747646-adc3-4b68-ac40-2a0229a7c4d6" style="width: 300px;" class="fr-fic fr-dii"> If you&#x2019;d prefer to change the wallet you have connected, please contact us at <a data-fr-linked="true" href="mailto:support@dimo.co">support@dimo.co</a> for assistance.&#xA0; Stuck Claiming AutoPi ID, Vehicle ID, or Pairing When using an external MetaMask wallet to sign transactions, it can sometimes time out and close early. This can lead to getting stuck on any steps that involve transfers or links!&#xA0;The autolock for MetaMask is usually set to 30 seconds. Extending this timeframe will keep it open longer while you connect DIMO. You can find these settings in MetaMask, under Setting &gt; Security &amp; Privacy &gt; Autolock.&#xA0;If you&#x2019;re not using an external MetaMask wallet or if changing the autolock doesn&#x2019;t solve the issue, check your connection. Make sure you aren&#x2019;t connecting through a VPN, and that you have good cell reception. Connectivity is essential to set up your DIMO!&#xA0; &#x201C;Proceed&#x201D; or &#x201C;Sign&#x201D; Buttons Unresponsive If the buttons aren&#x2019;t responding, try switching back to your wallet application. This should allow you to continue through the process.

If you&#x2019;ve earned rewards, you can expect to see a deposit in your wallet every Monday. The rewards are calculated and sent out starting at 12:00 am EST. It may take a few hours before all rewards are processed.
